Transition West Kirby is trying to organise a regular West Kirby Farmers' Market. There is an ancient law which prevents the setting up of a rival market within six and two-third miles of an existing statutory market (in our case, Birkenhead Market), and this is making the process complicated and lengthy.

However, we believe that a farmers' market in West Kirby is inevitable - so keep a lookout here for updates.
